Direct to Paper Technique

Hello Stampers ~ I have a new technique idea for you with my Direct to Paper Technique today.

Wow was I busy yesterday.  I took some boxes to the recycling center then came back and hit my studio.  I managed to make 2 videos and 7 cards.  I wanted to get cards made so I have things to post over the next few days.  Today I will spend a little time in my studio making my videos for this week and finishing up a few cards I started.  It will be a slow paced day as it won’t take me long to get those tasks completed.

I played with a new technique for today’s card.  This is a very easy technique and could be done in a variety of ways.  I had to find a thinlit that I could use for the first time.  I wanted something simple to make sure I could do the technique easily to show you how to do it.  I found the Botanical Tags thinlits and knew they would be perfect.  My video is a little longer than 10 minutes as I also wanted to show you how to make the multiloop bow I made using the linen thread.  Here is my video showing you how I used the Direct to Paper Technique for my creation today.

So you can see the detail of the card a little better, here is a photo.

Techniques are fun to play with especially if they are easy. I used the Direct to Paper Technique for this cute creation.

Stampin’ Up supplies used for my creation

Thanks for visiting me today and I hope I inspired you.  I have been wanting some macaroni salad so I purchased all the supplies earlier this week and will make some today.  I will probably also make some chicken salad tomorrow to go with it.  Perfect picnic food.  Have a Sensational Sunday and if you try the Direct to Paper Technique make sure you share it with me as I would love to see other ideas!
